clique was a smart move on both of their parts,
shown here on Lowdown Suite with his
self-effacing rhyme style, and warm soul singing.
Some post-Sugarhill rappers appear to be
tone-deaf (paging DMX), but Moka has a bit
of Lionel Richie in his veins to help compliment
his burgeoning discography. Lowdown Suite
presents sufficient evidence of Moka Only’s
importance in today’s world of rhyme, and hasn’t
a weak track among 18.
