Foxy Shazam: Introducing
Foxy Shazam - Introducing - [Ferret Music]

2007-12-16

This album is fun! These guys can really entertain us listeners with their Rock N' Roll.
The entire second album, strangely named "Introducing", is a giant party-no pauses, let alone dull moments.
Foxy Shazam is an American band that makes music you will not hear anywhere else: from the awesome piano work by Schuyler Vaughn White that sets the foundation and background to the whole album, to the shrieking (but not annoying) voice of Eric Sean Nally that literally sings his heart out, the orchestrations and the bands wall of sound.

If I had to define the band's genre, I would say that they play rock/rock and roll with various influences-from soul to psychedelic to classic prog-rock.
The energy levels throughout the album are very high; you can clearly visualize the band lashing out during concerts (in which the band's name already precedes it).
More than anything else- this album will put you in a good mood, I recommend hearing it during breakfast, or on the way to work. Trust me- you'll thank me later!

In conclusion - this is a unique band that has awesome original sound, a band that you hear at the beginning of their career and simply know they have a bright future ahead.

Satisfaction guaranteed.
