Anal Vomit: Demoniac Flagellations
Anal Vomit - Demoniac Flagellations - [Displeased Records]

2006-09-09

Peru's Anal Vomit make no qualms about their music, its 80's style death/thrash with almost endless grind beats, dirty sounding guitars and shouted vocals, the fact the band's lyrics center around devil worship, sex, booze and other healthy things is just as can be expected.

I cant really refer to any separate track, the whole album is a coalition of material written since the band's initiation in 1992, recorded in 2002 and 2003 and finally released, its just one act of aggression after the other, with some worthy thrashy riffs and pretty good lead work, but nothing more than that.

There's no discernible hooks, no impressive technical ability, and nothing too unique to separate them from mid 80's thrash/death bands who Anal Vomit seem to give tribute to, plenty of aggression and old-school leanings, but nothing more.

I know a couple of people who'll be really happy with this, fans of bands like Destroyer 666 will go mad for it, but I can be bothered.
