These young guys will surely bring to mind such bands as Trivium and God Forbid, not only were the three produced by the talented Jason Suecof, who gave this album a clear and crisp sound, but they also deal in a rather melodic version of neo-thrash/Metalcore, well executed and well played.
From the opening track – Decay, the album's sound and style is immediately apparent, dynamic drumming and aggressive thrashy riffs, the vocals have the snarling characteristics often found in Metalcore, but it’s the professionalism of the talent involved that makes this better than a million other core bands currently flooding the scene, first and foremost in this genre, is the guitar work, and these guys sure know their shit, fine riffs, excellent lead work, they have the same level of playing ability which makes bands such as God Forbid what they are.
The title track has one of the album's strongest choruses, catchy and half-melodic, vocalist Miller is using a bit of a different approach in his delivery here, and it works. The riffs here are also some of the best on the album.
It's not the most original of albums, but its well made, well played, these guys certainly put some serious energy in this album, and it has a good feel about it, I can recommend it whole-heartedly.
