A Little Bitter: Nothing
A Little Bitter - Nothing - [Unsigned]

2006-02-23

A little bitter is a very experienced trio- including Jonny Armstrong (guitar/vocals), Seamy Donnelly (bass/backing vocals) and Anthony 'Keg' Campbell (drums/ percussion), with "Nothing" being their 3rd EP, they're just on the verge of having a debut.

Defining what genre these guys play is kinda tricky; it has some stoner/hard rock origin, and a touch of grunge.
The groove in "Someday" is a good welcome to those who don't know this band; the fuzzy guitar gives a certain comfort, clean simple fun, jamming in a garage on a Sunday afternoon.
Jonny has a very accessible voice, close perhaps to that or Incubus's Brandon Boyd at times, and some fine guitar riffs to accompany it; "Jebus" illustrates that exact point.
Closing this EP (so soon?) is the title track, being the most rugged here and with the most potential of catching the media's attention.

Overall, this EP shows talent, a core of musicians who are in it because they enjoy playing and making music.
Their breakthrough lies ahead - it's just a matter of when.
