Gun Metal Gray - Fear of Ghosts

Excellent, Amazing, One of a kind! Those are all words that do not connect with
Gun Metal Gray new album. But, Although "Fear of Ghosts" may not be the greatest masterpiece ever, it consists of several good elements and for a self produced album I must admit it stands for the
Gun Metal Gray plays grange metal with a few heavier elements.
Jim McCarthy sings classic grange style that reminds a bit of Faith No More or Pearl Jam . Check out "detangeld" , a catchy grange ballad with a powerful chorus.
Most of songs are based on Rich Stratton guitar riffs. A guitar player that knows what he's doing and adds the heavier and funkier elements. Check out "beaten path"
Joe Sampson (drums) and Kevin McCarthy (bass) plays professional rhythm section.

Fear of Ghosts is a is a very good grange album for the styles fanatics that proves that good grange is not Seattle's privilege alone (this time its Boston but I'm sure Europe will make it someday) and for the rest of you, well, I wouldn't throw Pearl Jam yet.
