MindGrinder: Mindtech
MindGrinder - Mindtech - [Nocturnal Art]

2004-06-20

A brutal maelstrom of crushing grind-core with industrial elements, these Norwegians create one of the hardest hitting albums to be unleashed lately, not for the faint hearted.
Featuring members and ex-members of such group as Source Of Tide and Zyklon, the guys here have their share of experience in the extreme metal genre, and the y certainly hone their crafts to perfection with this release.
Benefiting from a crystal clear sound, the tracks are furious amalgams of fast, grind/black metal riffing, with almost non-stop blast beats,
They make use of their machine-like drummer, making them sound highly precise and industrial like, some use of programming and keyboards also makes the sound colder and more aggressive.
Though not black metal in character, the band would certainly appeal to fans of extreme black metal, their evident misanthropic flavor, and frost frozen sound will make them an instant favorite,
Definitely not for the faint-hearted, as I said before, this one is up there with the loudest of 'em.
