Victims Family: 4 Great Thrash Songs
Victims Family - 4 Great Thrash Songs - [Alternative Tentacles]

2003-07-29

This is a recording of the last live show by this band that goes way back to 1984, and plays hardcore punk with some funky jazz and a bit of metal.
In general, they resemble ‘Dead Kennedys’ only in a more experimental rock’n roll attitude.
The band’s line-up (in this album):
Vocals, Guitars – Ralph Spight
Bass – Larry Boothroyd
Drums – Tim Solyan
The show consists of 23 songs (an hour +) in a really good sound quality (not like other punk bands).
After the band’s split in 1995, Larry (bass) started a band called ‘Saturns Flea Collar’ and added the guitarist Ralph. After 2 years they split again and formed ‘Hellworms’ which then split as well at 2000 after the drummer left. Ralph and Larry decided to form ‘Victims Family’ again and play the matirial of all 3 bands.
And to finish up – the album is recommended for the band’s fans, and the ‘Dead Kennedys’ fans who will try can expect a new addiction.
