Mexico's Los Los make no qualms about them not being mad, they are admissibly so.
With a debut album that sounds like Type O Negative on drug infused Enchiladas, the Mexican Locos are ready to take on the world:
Hi There! I wanted to start with the band's name, what does it mean?
It means mucho mucho chihuahua dessert, pejote, fast cars, dry and dirty guitars, marihuana and spicy chilli con roque metal ..
and a drunken hombre after a show of Ranchos Huevos who could not speak our bandname. He always said los aehmmm .. Los...? los. los... ?! hmm... Los LOS.???

2. What the story behind the band, how did you guys start out?
We are Los Los-5 amigos from Chihuahua Dessert Mexico +++ kidnaped the champion bull El Cavallo+++Los Los on the country's most wanted list, with 500,000 US dollars on their heads+++ left the continent in the dead of night +++ fleeing to bring Roque Metal to europe +++ gucci gucci baby+++
3. Why don't you use your real names?
We have to be anomimos- because of the police and the Mexican mafia.
4. How did you sign with your label, Drakkar?
We met Don Bogdan, the chief muchacho de drakkar records on a christmas party last year. We went there, because there was free dinking. After many many good German cervezas we were amigos and we signed a paper.
5. Why do so many cover songs? Why not originals?
There are no cover versions on our album! All songs that you call "covers" have been written by our fathers and grandfathers! And now we turned these songs back into the only original Roque Metal versions !!
6. Why pick tracks that are un metallic in nature to cover?
Oh, it's because our fathers and grandfathers were singing these songs to us in our childhood. So we know nothing about any un metalic versions of these songs. Our versions are the real ones!
6. You appear with masks that seem like a combination between Slipknot and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, why is that?
No no no. It's only because it is too dangerous for us the lift the masks. But maybe next year .
7. Why do you choose to sing in Spanish, and not in English, which would make you more accessible?
Real Roque Metal is always in Spanish or sometimes in spanglish !
8. Your musical direction reminded me of Type O negative's, with more electronic flourishes, what would you say were your main influences?
The main influence is the chihuahua dessert. But roque metal comes direktly from the mothermilk.
9. How was the experience of recording the album, I understand it was done in quite a remote studio in Mexico.
It was a great time when we recorded in the Roque Metal Studios in Chihuahua Dessert Mexico. This is a lovely place - but it is very dusty and dirty. Maybe You know somebody who can come over, to help us to clean the studio.
10. The album is very well produced, who did the production of it?
You like it ? then we like it too ! It is produced by Cabron, Cornzales and a crazy muchacho called cet Merlin
11. What kind of memorable live shows did you do as of now?
We did some test concerts in Argentina and Brazil. In dec. we will have our first show in allemania. In 2006 we start the big Chihuahua Dessert Tour.
12. What about touring, what are your plans?
We want to bring Rouque Metal to everybody in the world. Maybe we come to Israel next year and we have party with you !
