Emma Pollock releases her debut solo single "Adrenaline" through 4AD this week; a striking introduction to her work as a solo artist. As one of the most inspirational and revered songwriters of our time with her band The Delgados, Emma has continued to write and record since the band called it a day and will release her full debut album, "Watch the Fireworks" later in the year. Backed with b-side 'A Glorious Day', a reworking of a poem by Brendan Cleary, the single reveals Emma at her best - highlighting her inspirations for writing and the organic nature of her songs. 'Adrenaline' is a gorgeous insight into what is to come from Emma Pollock.
