Lordi will sing for Finland at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with their song "Hard Rock Hallelujah".
The band scored a runway victory in the super-final of the Finnish national final; they picked up 42.2% of the votes, outstanding their nearest rival Tomi Metsäkedon who scored 28.5%.
Lordi will first perform in the semi- final of the 2006 contest on May 18 in Athens.
