The End Records are proud to announce the signing of SUBTERRANEAN
MASQUERADE, a multi-musical phenomena with various influences ranging from
progressive to post rock, extreme metal and even epic doom !
The band will enter the studio late November with well-known producer Bryan
Hall to record a two-track EP, entitled Temporary Psychotic State. Clocking
over 15 minutes, the music on this EP is a homage to progressive rock a la
KING CRIMSON, with modern post rock passages and early PINK FLOYD
psychedelic moments, all wrapped in layers of orchestral arrangements that
give the recording a thick and artistic sound.
The recording line-up features bassist JWW (Agalosh, Nothing, Especially like Slote), Drummer Tino (Epoch of Unlight), Jake (Anima Nera), and singer Yishai Swearts. (Nail Within, Betrayer, Moonskin)
The EP will be released as 10 Vinyl, limited to 1000 copies and licensed on CD format to The End Records. Both formats will feature lavish artwork curtsey of Travis Smith.
Subterranean Masquerade are currently hard in work crafting their full debut recording to be unleashed late 2004.
